서화평 목사의 ‘굳모닝기도편지’

오늘부터 기독교의 고전이라 할 수 있는 책, “하나님의 임재연습(The Practice of the Presence of God)”을 KOG믿음의 가족들과 나누려합니다.

저는 우리 신앙의 본질이 우리 삶의 주인되신 예수 그리스도을 알고 그리스도 예수를 사랑하는 것임을 알게 된 것이 너무나 감사합니다. 예수님을 믿지만 그 분 자신이 진정한 복임을 알지 못하고 그 분에 손에 있는 것들을 추구하던 시간들이 있었습니다. 그러나 성경의 수많은 구절들이 이 땅에서 썩어질 것들을 구하지 말고 주를 사랑하고 가까이 하는 삶을 살도록 가르쳐주고 있음을 깨달았습니다.

우리가 자주 나누는 (시편. Psalms 73:28) “하나님께 가까이 함이 내게 복이라 내가 주 여호와를 나의 피난처로 삼아 주의 모든 행적을 전파하리이다. But as for me, it is good to be near God. I have made the Sovereign LORD my refuge; I will tell of all your deeds.”이 그 중에 하나의 말씀입니다.

진실로 “하나님께 가까이 함이 내게 복이라“하신 말씀을 깨닫게 하심을 감사합니다. 믿음의 선배들 중에 이 신앙의 본질을 붙들고 산 분들이 있었습니다. 그 분들 중 한 분이 320여년 전에 사시던 ‘브라더 로렌스(Brother Lawrence)’입니다. 사랑하는 형제,자매들과 이 책을 함께 나누고 묵상함을 통해 바쁜 세상에 얽매여 살아가는 삶에서 우리 주님과의 친밀한 교제속에 거하는 법을 터득하여 이 땅에서의 삶에서도 천국을 경험하는 신앙으로 살아가길 축복하며 기도합니다. 아멘.

From today, I will share the book, "The Practice of the Presence of God," which can be called the christianity classic, with KOG Family.

I am so grateful to know that the essence of our faith is ‘To Know Jesus Christ, the Lord of our lives, and To Love Him. Although I was believing in Jesus, but there was a time when l did’nt know the true joy and pursued something in His Hand. 

From a few years ago, I have realized that many passages of the Bible teach me to live a life of love and nearness to the Lord, not seeking things that will rot in the earth.

We are often sharing (Psalms 73:28). "Blessed be near to God, and I will make the Lord your God a refuge and preach all your acts. But as for me, it is good to be near God. I have made the Sovereign LORD my refuge; I will tell you of all your deeds. "

I truly thank you for making me realize that my Lord are "blessed be near to God”.  Among the elders of faith, there were those who lived with the essence of this faith. It is Brother Lawrence, one of whom he lived 320 years ago. I wish that we, all will come closer to our Lord through sharing and meditating on this book with our KOG Family. 

I pray that the great blessings of our Lord(Intimacy with God) will be poured out on all of us in this morning. Amen.
