하나님의 임재연습(The Practice of the Presence of God) -묵상(24) 01/08/2019 (화. Tue.)

• (엡 6:12-17)
12 우리의 씨름은 혈과 육을 상대하는 것이 아니요 통치자들과 권세들과 이 어둠의 세상 주관자들과 하늘에 있는 악의 영들을 상대함이라
13 그러므로 하나님의 전신 갑주를 취하라 이는 악한 날에 너희가 능히 대적하고 모든 일을 행한 후에 서기 위함이라
14 그런즉 서서 진리로 너희 허리 띠를 띠고 의의 호심경을 붙이고
15 평안의 복음이 준비한 것으로 신을 신고
16 모든 것 위에 믿음의 방패를 가지고 이로써 능히 악한 자의 모든 불화살을 소멸하고
17 구원의 투구와 성령의 검 곧 하나님의 말씀을 가지라

우리가 완전을 갈망하면 할수록 우리는 더욱 더 하나님의 은혜에만 의존해야 한다. 우리는 이제 아주 사소한 일, 스쳐 지나가는 순간에도 그분의 도움을 필요로 하게된다. 왜냐하면 하나님의 은혜 없이는 우리는 아무것도 할 수 없기 때문이다.
세상과 육신과 마귀는 우리 영혼을 향해 격렬하고 그칠 줄 모르는 전투를 걸어 온다. 우리가 만일 겸손히 하나님을 의지하며 도우심을 힘입을 줄 모른다면 우리의 영혼은 질질 끌려 다니게 되고 말 것이다.
이 전적인 의뢰가 때로는 우리 인간의 본성과 정반대 되는 일이기도 하지만, 그래도 하나님은 그것을 무한히 기뻐하신다. 또 우리도 그것을 통해서만 쉼을 누릴 수 있다.

• (Eph. 6:12-17)
“12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. 13 Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. 14 Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, 15 and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. 16 In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17 Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.”

The more we aspire to be perfect, the more dependent we are on the grace of God. We begin to need His help with every little thing and at every moment, because without it we can do nothing. The world, the flesh, and the devil wage a fierce and continuous war on our souls. If we weren't capable of humbly depending on God for assistance, our souls would be dragged down. Although this total dependence may sometimes go against our human nature, God takes great pleasure in it. Learning to do so will bring us rest.
