• (계. Rev. 1:5) ‘또 충성된 증인으로 죽은 자들 가운데에서 먼저 나시고 땅의 임금들의 머리가 되신 예수 그리스도로 말미암아 은혜와 평강이 너희에게 있기를 원하노라 우리를 사랑하사 그의 피로 우리 죄에서 우리를 해방하시고
And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,(KJV)
• (계. Rev. 3:14) ‘○라오디게아 교회의 사자에게 편지하라 아멘이시요 충성되고 참된 증인이시요 하나님의 창조의 근본이신 이가 이르시되
And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God;(KJV)
• (갈.Gal 5:22-23) 22 오직 성령의 열매는 사랑과 희락과 화평과 오래 참음과 자비와 양선과 충성과 23 온유와 절제니 이같은 것을 금지할 법이 없느니라. {But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, / gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.}
• (고전. 1Cor. 4:1-2) ‘사람이 마땅히 우리를 그리스도의 일꾼이요 하나님의 비밀을 맡은 자로 여길지어다. 그리고 맡은 자들에게 구할 것은 충성이니라
Let a man so account of us, as of the ministers of Christ, and stewards of the mysteries of God. Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful.
• (딤후. 2Tim.2:2) ‘또 네가 많은 증인 앞에서 내게 들은 바를 충성된 사람들에게 부탁하라 그들이 또 다른 사람들을 가르칠 수 있으리라.
And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.
