하나님의 임재연습(The Practice of the Presence of God)-묵상(9) 12/13/2018(목.Thu.)

• (행 16:22~25)
“무리가 일제히 일어나 고발하니 상관들이 옷을 찢어 벗기고 매로 치라 하여 많이 친 후에 옥에 가두고 간수에게 명하여 든히 지키라 하니 그가 이러한 명령을 받아 그들을 옥에 가두고 그 발을 차꼬에 든든히 채웠더니 한밤중에 바울과 실라가 기도하고 하나님을 찬송하매 최수들이 듣더라"

“주 안에서 항상 기뻐하라 내가 다시 말하노니 기뻐하라”
•(빌 4:12)
“나는 비천에 처할 줄도 알고 풍부에 처할 줄도 알아 모든 일 곧 배부름과 배고픔과 풍부와 궁핍에도 처할 줄 아는 일체의 비결을 배웠노라“

•로렌스 형제는 하나님이 매사에 즉각즉각 도와주신다는 것을 체험하기 전만 해도 그는 모든 세부 사항을 다 자기 손으로 계획하고 자기 힘으로 일을 처리해 나가는 사람이었다. 그러나 이제는 하나님 앞에서 어린아이 같은 단순한 모습으로 무슨 일이든 오직 하나님을 사랑하기 때문에 하고자 하며, 그때마다 인도해 주시는 하나님께 감사드리는 사람이 되었다. 그가 하는 일은 다 안연함 중에 매듭지어졌고 그런 일을 겪을 때마다 그는 하나님의 사랑의 임재 속으로 점점 더 깊이 잠겨 들어갔다.

외부 업무를 하는 중 자기도 모르는 사이에 하나님과의 교제가 산만하게라도 될라치면 주님께서는 그에게 어떤 식으로든 아주 작게라도 무슨 신호를 보내사 그의 영혼을 다시금 소유하곤 하셨다. 그러면 그의 영혼엔 다시 하나님의 형상이 홍수처럼 충만해졌다. 그것이 얼마나 기뻤던지 그는 어떤 때는 마음에 불씨가 당겨진 사람마냥 충만한 기쁨을 어쩔 줄 몰라했다. 그저 큰소리로 찬양을 부르고 싶고 외치고 싶고 주님 앞에서 기쁨으로 춤이라도 추고 싶은 솟구치는 충동을 경험하곤 했다.

(나의 기도)
주님, 하나님과의 임재를 누리게 되면 될수록 그 영혼에는 기쁨과 감사와 찬양의 영으로 충만해지는 것임을 다시금 깨닫습니다. 복음때문에 억울하게 매를 맞고 감옥에 들어갔던 바울과 실라가 그래서 그 비관적인 상황속에서도 기쁨의 찬양을 할 수 있었고 주님만이 보이시는 기적과 이적을 경험하게 하셨음을 다시금 기억합니다. 하나님과의 임재연습은 그 어떤 것보다 내가 추구해야할 신앙의 핵심임을 고백합니다.

22 The crowd joined in the attack against Paul and Silas, and the magistrates ordered them to be stripped and beaten with rods. 23 After they had been severely flogged, they were thrown into prison, and the jailer was commanded to guard them carefully. 24 When he received these orders, he put them in the inner cell and fastened their feet in the stocks. 25 About midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the other prisoners were listening to them.

“Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice!“

“I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want.“

Before brother Lawrence had experienced God's swift help in his affairs, he had attempted to plan every detail, doing the job in his own strength. Now, though, acting with childlike simplicity in God's sight, he did everything for the love of God, thanking Him for His guidance. Everything he did passed calmly, in a way that held him close to the loving presence of God.

When any outside business unnecessarily diverted him from his communication with God, a little reminder came from the Lord that took possession of his soul, flooding it with the image of God. This sometimes set him on fire to the point that he felt a great impulse to shout praises, to sing, and to dance before the Lord with joy.
