하나님의 임재연습(The Practice of the Presence of God) -묵상(23) 01/07/2019 (월. Mon.)

• (고전 13:8-13). “(8) 사랑은 언제까지나 떨어지지 아니하되 예언도 폐하고 방언도 그치고 지식도 폐하리라 (9) 우리는 부분적으로 알고 부분적으로 예언하니 (10) 온전한 것이 올 때에는 부분적으로 하던 것이 폐하리라 (11) 내가 어렸을 때에는 말하는 것이 어린 아이와 같고 깨닫는 것이 어린 아이와 같고 생각하는 것이 어린 아이와 같다가 장성한 사람이 되어서는 어린 아이의 일을 버렸노라 (12) 우리가 지금은 거울로 보는 것 같이 희미하나 그 때에는 얼굴과 얼굴을 대하여 볼 것이요 지금은 내가 부분적으로 아나 그 때에는 주께서 나를 아신 것 같이 내가 온전히 알리라. (13) 그런즉 믿음, 소망, 사랑, 이 세 가지는 항상 있을 것인데 그 중의 제일은 사랑이라.”

믿음을 가진 자는 모든 것을 할 수 있고, 소망을 가진 자는 그보다 많은 것을 할 수 있으며, 사랑을 가진 자는 그보다도 더 많은 것을 할 수 있다. 그리고 이 세 가지를 다 연습하는 자는 그보다 훨씬 더 많은 것을 할 수 있다.

우리는 말하고 행동하는 범사에 있어서 하나님을 깊이 생각해야만 한다. 우리의 목표는 영원을 예비하며 이 땅에서 살아가는 동안 하나님을 향한 우리의 경배에 있어서 완전해지는 것이 되어야만 한다. 우리는 영적인 생활에서 부딪치는 모든 어려움들을 하나님의 은혜로 극복해 내겠다는 확고한 결의를 가져야만 한다.

• (1 Corin 13:8-13). “8 Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away. 9 For we know in part and we prophesy in part, 10 but when completeness comes, what is in part disappears. 11 When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put the ways of childhood behind me. 12 For now we see only a reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known. 13 And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.”

AIl things are possible to him who believes; still more to him who hopes; still more to him who loves; and most of all to him who practices all three.

First of all, we need to be considerate of God in everything we do and say. Our goal should be to become perfect in our adoration of Him throughout this earthly life in preparation for all eternity. We must make a firm resolution to overcome, with God's grace, all the diffculties encountered in a spiritual life.
